My two daughters have been learning a musical instrument. My oldest, Sophia, is learning bass guitar and Jianna is learning alto saxophone. I know there are likely many families in our ‘Hood who also play or are learning to play instruments, and I thought it would be fun to try to do a regular “Jam Session” in our ‘Hood on a regular schedule like either every other Saturday afternoon or maybe a monthly thing. I’m putting the feeler out there to see if there is any interest in this, and it could be fun for the kids (and maybe even the adults too). I would need some help organizing this, and if there are any parents out there who are also musically inclined, I would love your help to put this together. I own professional sound equipment from my DJ’ing days, and could use that to setup a sound stage for electrified instruments.
