After HOA Board approval, I successfully deployed a temperature sensor to the Bridgberry pool. This sensor sends a water temperature reading by data packet every hour at the top of the hour. You can find it on this site at the Main Menu:

Clicking this option in the menu will bring you to a Pool Conditions dashboard which you can view from any mobile device before deciding to go to the pool. It’s super easy to use and you can even save it as an icon on your mobile device home screen for easy access anytime. Here are some things you can quickly check at a glance from your mobile, tablet, or PC:
- Pool water temperature in degrees Fahrenheit
- UV Index value – know when you need sunscreen or not – anything above 5, sunscreen is recommended. Anything above 10, you may wish to seek shade
- Air Temperature – if this value is lower than the water temperature, you may feel a little chilly getting out of the water
- “Real Feel” Temperature – this value takes the dewpoint into account to inform on how it actually feels, given the Air Temperature and the dewpoint
- Relative Humidity – this value provides a measure of stickiness
- Clubhouse Temperature – this value is collected from inside the clubhouse – useful for knowing whether the AC is on, and what the current temperature reading is

Weather data such as UV Index, Air Temperature, Real Feel Temperature, and Relative Humidity readings are sourced from highly localised weather station equipment at Lot 14. This equipment provides highly accurate data and is public for the whole of Bridgeberry and the world-wide weather watch community.
If you wish to setup the dashboard on your home screen for convenient use anytime, here’s how:
IOS Instructions
Open the dashboard on your device, using this website’s menu, and click the “share” icon in the right side end of the address bar:

Select “Add To Home Screen” in the next screen:

You may wish to shorten the name to “Pool Conditions”, then click “Add” in the upper right corner:

Once added, you’ll see the shortcut on your home screen and now anytime you launch it, you will have a nice dashboard displaying all the Bridgeberry pool conditions data, available to you 24/7, 365 days a year.
