Most may already be aware but I wasn’t so sending this out for awareness anyways.
Taylor Morrison contracts pre-closing termite protection with a company called Neuse. This treatment is done in 2 steps: before anything is built on the ground and prior to closing. This treatment can last 5-7 years.
Some background – I closed on my house in Feb 2022 and was researching and getting quotes from different companies where Neuse was one of them. In my conversation with them I accidentally learnt that they were responsible for pre-treatment of my property (I couldn’t find their reference in any of my closing documents)
Why is this important? – If you decide to renew with Neuse, the pre-treatment enables you to get a waiver on some of their exclusions in the regular contract(important). But to get the waiver, you need to call them and request an addendum specific to your address.
